Frequently asked questions

We've documented the WordPress and Freshdesk Data Models in our Explorer. Use this to browse the tables, columns and foreign keys we create in your data warehouse.
With SyncHub, you can create any report you like. This is because (unlike other reporting tools) we give you access to your raw WordPress and Freshdesk data. If you don't already have a reporting tool, you can use our Insights platform or grab one of our recommended 3rd-party tools then use its standard Database Connector to connect to SyncHub and begin pulling down your data.
If your SQL skills are a little rusty, we've got you covered too. Our AI Assistant lets you speak with your WordPress and Freshdesk data in natural language - no SQL or BI skills required! Read more about our AI here.
SyncHub can poll WordPress and Freshdesk as frequently as every five minutes, however this capability may be limited by the amount of data you have and/or the type of plan you have with WordPress and Freshdesk. The best way to find out is to simply grab a free trial of SyncHub, connect WordPress and Freshdesk, then see for yourself.
Yes! Your subscription includes a free Gemini-powered chatbot which you can immediately begin using to query your data using natural language - no SQL or BI skills required! Read more about our AI here.
No problem. Use SyncHub to sync your raw WordPress and Freshdesk data directly to your AI-optimized database (such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift), and combine it with our curated WordPress and Freshdesk data model to train and fine-tune any AI-powered application.
This is a great use case for SyncHub. Each account you connect to will be synced to the same database and stored in its own separate schema. This keeps each account in its own data silo, while allowing you to query across schemas to easily query across all your WordPress and Freshdesk accounts. View our walkthrough here.
SyncHub will (E)xtract your raw data from WordPress and Freshdesk and (L)oad it into your normalized, relational data warehouse. You can then use our Insights platform to (T)ransform your data so that you can report on it easily, such as building monthly rollups or normalizing currencies.
There are many ways to query data from WordPress and Freshdesk - CSV exports, Native Reports, API access etc. But for all but the most trivial reports, you need a staging service like SyncHub to ensure performance and uptime. See our detailed breakdown here to understand where a tool like SyncHub fits into your analytics stack.
SyncHub steps in where out-of-the-box reporting solutions fall over. We don't presume to know the questions you have of your data, and thus we don't provide any reports. What we do give you is raw data - as pure as possible - so you can build the reports that you need for your business. Of course, if you need help, you're sure to find a helpful professional in our Services Store.
Yes! That's exactly what SyncHub was designed for. Just use the standard Database Connector from your reporting tool to connect to SyncHub and start bringing in your data.
No. SyncHub is a read-only tool and cannot reflect changes back to your cloud applications.
We currently sync Category, Clicked outbound link, Comment, Downloaded file, Media, Played video, Post, Stats summary, Subscriber, Tag, User, Viewed post, Views by country, Post tag, Post category and Post media (see our Data Model for full details). If there's something else you need just ask.
Your WordPress and Freshdesk data is stored in its own dedicated data warehouse, hosted in our Microsoft Azure Sydney Data Center. If you'd like it stored somewhere else (even your own servers), just enquire about our BYOD (bring-your-own-database) option.
Absolutely. Every customer gets their very own isolated data warehouse. Database credentials are salt-encrypted...multi-factor authentication can be activated for your account...we take security very seriously. You can read more about our security best practices here.
Because SyncHub is continuously syncing your WordPress and Freshdesk data to an offsite data store, you can also use our service to essentially maintain an up-to-date backup, in the event of a critical data failure or transfer to another system. With our BYOD (bring-your-own-database) option, you can even have this data stored directly into your own database. Select your pricing plan to backup on-demand as required, or have SyncHub automatically backup every day in the background for you.

We have a lot of ambitious clients who want to get as close as they can to their business data but it’s often siloed in different systems, so while they were able to look at each dataset in isolation, bringing all the right metrics together was challenging.
