Data is more fun when it's shared with others. As account admin, you are able to invite other people who need to manage or use your data. These could range from people within your business, or your clients, your your accountant, etc. You can configure the access level of each user via the settings below. ### Who should you invite? - People who need to connect your cloud services (ie. those who have logins to your cloud services). If you are a consultant, then this may include _your clients_ (even though they won't be using the data themselves) - Data managers who can configure the exact type of data you want to download, or need to investigate problems with the data model - People who wish to use our [MCP server](/connectors/getresponse/knowledge-base/mcp) or [AI Assistant](/connectors/getresponse/knowledge-base/aiassistant) #### You do _not_ need to invite - BI analysts using the data directly from their reporting tool (they just need the [datastore credentials](/connectors/getresponse/knowledge-base/datastoremanagement) instead) > **NB.** For business continuity, you should always invite at least one other person **with full account admin privileges** ### Managing your users Head to **Admin** > **Users** to see a list of people on your account. To invite someone to your account, click New. Enter their details and choose the permissions you would like them to have. Click **Invite Now** to send them an invitation to your account. Once the invitation has been sent, click **Save Person**. The new user will then need to accept the invite in their email inbox. #### Permissions - **Connection manager**: this allows the user to view and make changes to [your connections and data](/connectors/getresponse/knowledge-base/quickstartguide). - **Subscription manager**: can make changes to your account that incur additional charges, like adding a new connector or upgrading your AI credits. - **Account admin**: this allows the user to access your [subscription settings](https://app.synchub.io/account/paymentdetails) and to change other users’ details and permissions. #### Removing a user Head to **Admin** > **Users** to see a list of people on your account. To remove someone, click on their name, then click **Deactivate**, then click **Okay**. ### User limits There's no limit to the number of users you add to your SyncHub account, and we encourage you to add people from all parts of your team. ### Troubleshooting - If a person cannot sign in to their account, visit their account settings and make sure you have _Invited_ them, and that they have _accepted_ their invite. You can see this status in the bottom of the user setup screen, as well as re-send invites. - If a user has forgotten their password, you _cannot_ reset it for them. Instead, they must use the "Forgot Password" functionality on our sign-in page (next to the password prompt). - Remember that there is a **difference** between your _SyncHub_ credentials (configured on this module) and your [datastore credentials](/connectors/getresponse/knowledge-base/datastoremanagement) (used to access your database from your reporting tool) - be careful not to get them mixed up.
